Nestled on Richard and Gillie's family run organic farm, these sturdy Wiltshire farm cottages are ideal for active families, relaxing weeks or romantic getaways.  Rooms are light, spacious and sunny with big windows and stunning views; with a modern, 'cottagey' feel. Sofas are plump. walls are white, furniture a mixture of antique and stripped pine, lighting is smart. No Chintz, no fussy ornaments.

Bedrooms have a fresh, breezy feel, while the bathroom is simple and spotless. Wood burning stove, exposed brickwork, fresh flowers, books, and games create a welcoming, homely atmosphere.

A wonderfully light and thoughtfully equipped kitchen makes cooking a joy - and why not try the farm produced beef, sausages and bacon, and game when in season. If you are too busy to cook, Gillie, your hostess, will rustle up breakfast and barbecue supper hampers or simply stock the fridge, with locally sourced quality foods.

Explore Stonehenge and Longleat, stroll over the South Wessex Downs, visit Salisbury's magnificent Cathedral or the City of Bath, tour the New Forest, then return to the pretty garden terrace to drink in the views. There are too many local pubs with excellent food to mention. Gillie's daughters are available to baby-sit or entertain the children.

Kite-flying on the downs, wonderful walks, riding locally, visiting many of the local attractions, these lovely cottages will help make a memorable stay in one of the prettiest parts of Wiltshire.
